Meet the Founder of MTEtv

"Dinky" Diana Smith

Just call me Dinky

Dinky created MTE TV to bring compassionate, real-life mental health support into everyday homes. With a background in real estate, media, and storytelling, she understands what it takes to rebuild after loss.

Her vision? To make healing feel human again — through honest voices, shared struggles, and tools that meet people where they are.

But this work is more than professional — it’s deeply personal. After losing her daughter Lilly, Dinky spent years navigating grief, rediscovering hope, and finding meaning again. That journey, though filled with heartbreak, became the foundation for MTE TV and the My Talking Eye podcast.

Today, she uses her experience to show others that grief does not end a life’s story. Instead, it reshapes it. Her message is simple: you can survive, you can heal, and you are still here.

Through books, podcasts, TV programs, and community resources, Dinky’s mission is to help people feel seen, heard, and less alone. She believes healing isn’t about “moving on” but learning to carry both love and loss — and discovering joy along the way.
